This dance is repeated as long as the dancers and musicians want to keep going and after each repeat the music speeds up.
32 Bars + 8 bar lead-in
Hop step Couples dance as follows: hop (gents on their right foot, ladies on their left), 1 2 3 to the gent's left, then hop 1 2 3, back (2b) and dance a half turn in place so that the gents are facing in and ladies are facing out (2b). All are now facing slightly clockwise.
|2||Hop step back Couples dance as follows: hop (gents on their right foot, ladies on their left), 1 2 3 to the gent's left, then hop 1 2 3, back (2b) and dance a half turn in place so the gents are facing out and ladies are facing in (2b), all facing slightly anticlockwise again, back where they started.||4|
|3||Hop sevens Couples now dance as follows: hop, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 to the gent's left then hop, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 back to place (4b) and dance a full turn in place (4b). Gents finish facing out again.||8|
|4||Long 7's Couples dance as follows: hop, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 to the gent's left, then release hands, take the other ones and dance a quick half turn (without releasing the trailing hand), gent anticlockwise and lady clockwise to stand back to back, taking both hands. Continue in the same direction, dancing back to back hop, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7||4|
|5||Long 7's back Still back to back couples dance: hop, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 back the way they came (2b) then on the next hop releasing the gent's right hand and the lady's left, they turn to face each other again, gen anticlockwise and lady clockwise, and dance 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 back to where they started (2b).||4|
