All couples begin facing anticlockwise around the room. The lady is on the right of her partner with her left hand resting on his right. Gents begin on their left foot and ladies on their right.  The dance is repeated for the duration of the music.

Side away Gents L R L and ladies R L R then back again in towards their partners, gents R L R and ladies L R L
2 Dance forward Couples dance forward, gents L R LRL and ladies R L RLR, turning in to face back. 2
3 Dance back Couples repeat the previous two movements, beginning on their other foot and dance back to their original places. 4
4 Dance left and right Couples now take two hands (R in L) facing each other. They dance to the gent’ s left (gent LRL and lady RLR) and back. 2
5 Long side They now dance sideways to the gent’s left (gent L, R, L, R and lady R, L, R, L). 2
6 Waltz turn Dance one full turn in waltz hold. 4
