This set was recorded by Connie Ryan in the Cashel/Belcoo area of Fermanagh.
Notes from Toss the Feathers by Pat Murphy, reproduced with permission.
The reels should be danced with a light reel step and without battering. The jigs should be danced using the “down” jig step.

| 7 | Tops Ladies Chain Ladies chain with right hands in the centre, take left hand with the opposite gent and turn clockwise under his left arm while dancing anticlockwise around him (the gent does not turn), chain back and turn clockwise under their own partner’s left arm while dancing anticlockwise around him into place. Again, the gent does not turn. As the ladies are chaining across, the gent dances over into the ladies position to take left hands. As she dances around him he reverses back into his place. Because of the way the gents move over and reverse back home, more often than not, the gent ends up dancing around the lady with the lady simply turning in place. |
