Category: Irish Set
Description:
This set is very similar to the South Kerry Set given to us by Muiris O’Briain many years ago. These notes on the Foilmore Set are based on a description of the set originally written down by Timmy Woulfe, as danced by the Foilmore Set Dancers. Thanks to Timmy for preserving the set and sharing it with us.
Notes by Pat Murphy from Set Dancing News June/July 2013 edition, reproduced with permission.
The name of the dance is pronounced “file more.”
