High Cauled Cap

Category: Irish Ceili/Ceilidh
Description:

Danced to the tune High Cauled Cap.  Should be played lively.
Dancers start out in a set formation of 8 dancers.  Leading (1st) sides are to the left of leading tops.
Fun fact: The Caul refers not to a gents or ladies’ hat but rather to a rare cap left on a baby’s head after birth.
