Description:
Knockanore is a small rural parish in west county Waterford, near the Cork border. This new set dance was given to me by Mary Casey, dancing teacher in Knockanore. The set is written here as traditionally danced. It had been changed slightly in later years, but is written here in the original form. Polka steps are danced for the Jig/Slide figure.
