With gents’ backs to the centre, they slide to the corner, turn (clockwise) slightly so that ladies’ backs are to the centre, slide to their own positions and turn once in place (8b). |

Top lady moves across to her own place, going under the arch and top gent turns into place, as the side lady crosses outside him to join her partner. | 8 |

When they meet, all couples lead down the centre, going around anti clockwise back to place (8 bars). |
